Complete tattoo removal is a process through which the tattoo is completely removed and the affected skin area is freed from the tattoo. Laser tattoo removal is a gradual process and treatments are repeated until the tattoo is removed. There are a number of factors that affect the duration of tattoo removal sessions as well as the number of sessions needed to remove the tattoo entirely. These factors include the size of the tattoo, the area of the tattoo, condition of the skin as well as the colours, potency and depth of the tattoo.
At your initial FREE Consultation, we will assess all aspects of your tattoo to give you a realistic price for removal. The number of sessions required will also be determined at this time. It is far too difficult to give accurate quotes over the phone.
We do have a minimum charge of $70 and also price each tattoo individually.
Laser Tattoo Fading is a laser tattoo removal process that aims at fading or weakening the appearance of an existing tattoo. The treatment applied is the same treatment as in complete tattoo removal with lesser number of treatment sessions. The factors involved in the duration of the overall tattoo fading process and sessions duration include the size of the tattoo, the area of the tattoo, condition of the skin as well as the colours, potency and depth of the tattoo. Different types and colours of ink may require varying treatment duration. Tattoo fading is becoming increasingly popular as people become more interested in tattoo cover-up where the existing tattoo be covered with a newer one.
At Get Your Tatts Out we use the Ultralase Q-Switched Nd YAG Laser which is specifically designed for the purpose of tattoo removal and is known for it's outstanding ability to remove a variety of tattoo inks.
Lasers offer extreme precision for removing unwanted tattoos from all parts of the body. Tattoo inks are usually too large for the immune system to recognise which is why they are permanent. Lasers selectively target and shatter the ink of the tattoo into smaller particles which the immune system can recognise and remove without damaging the surrounding skin. Get Your Tatts Out Tattoo Removal in Lara uses the Ultralase Q-Switched Nd YAG Laser which is specifically designed for the purpose of tattoo removal and is known for it's outstanding ability to remove a variety of tattoo inks.
How it works
The Ultralase Q Switched Nd YAG laser is a highly focussed laser which is optimized for the removal of tattoos, particularly with darker inks. Using the Ultralase Nd-YAG Q-Switched Laser multi-coloured tattoos can easily be treated using different wavelengths to target various dyes without damaging the surrounding tissue. It can be set to identify specific wavelengths of light which correspond to different tattoo ink colours. Q-Switched lasers emit short pulses of high energy light that shatter tattoo ink into tiny particles that allow them to be removed by the body’s immune system with minimal effect on the surrounding skin.
